Fawn

Fawn is a cute-as-can-be Black Bear hamster who simply loves life!  She is one of eight hammies from a litter of fifteen (!) who were recently taken in to Luna’s House care.  She is quite the entertainer, astounding her foster parents with her voracious appetite for gourmet cuisine (aka hammy kibble, greens, and occasional treats of fruit or tiny crackers).  Fawn’s love for food is matched well by her zest for activity—she can often be found running full-speed in her wheel and scaling both the inside and outside of the tubes in her cage.  If you could use the joie de vive this seven-week-old lady brings, contact us at Adoption@lunashouse.org to brighten your day and hers!

Rosetta

Rosetta is an energetic hammy who loves bedtime, playtime, and mealtime equally!  This rodent jane-of-all trades is very young (born January 17, 2010), and is one of eight hammies from a litter of fifteen (!) who were recently taken in to Luna’s House care.  Rosetta is a clever little lady, and delights in constructing CareFresh fortresses in her enclosure.  She is certainly the most talented hammy architect/ engineer we’ve seen yet!  Rosetta is the same gorgeous jet-black color as her siblings, and we know you’ll find her irresistible. Please contact us at adoption@lunashouse.org to adopt this well-rounded lady into your home.

Otis, Dudley, Jerome

Otis, Dudley, and Jerome are three rather handsome gentlemen from a litter of fifteen (!) who were recently taken in to Luna’s House care. All of hammy boys are happy, healthy, and active…and all are social, likeable little guys.  These Black Bear hamsters were born January 17, 2010, so are still very young—but they are already highly-skilled wheel runners and acrobats.  We also firmly believe that any of the rodent brothers could have a future in the field of competitive eating, and perhaps we’ll see one or more as contenders at this year’s Coney Island Hot Dog Eating contest (with tofu hot dogs, of course J)!  Because Syrian hamsters like Otis, Dudley, and Jerome must live alone once they reach maturity, these guys are available for individual adoption to loving forever homes.

Tanya is the darkest of the sisters, with a gradient of tan-to-brown markings, Tara has light buff coloring, and Trina has the warm, medium tan coat with a bright white belly. Because Syrian hamsters like Tanya, Tara, and Trina must live alone once they reach maturity, these girls are available for individual adoption to loving forever homes. Gordon

Gordon arrived at Luna’s House with four other guinea pigs as part of a rescue effort with a hoarding situation in Hagerstown, MD. The pigs Luna’s House took in were five of more than 20 total who were removed from deplorable conditions. Gordon has overcome many of his anxieties in foster care, but would love to have a brand new forever home and a fresh start—perhaps with a lovely lady guinea—to get him to his goal of being a self-assured piggie. Gordon’s brother, Alfie, was named after the beloved TV character, Alf, so we named this chocolate-brown, medium-haired boy Gordon (Alf’s real name in the TV series). Gordon is estimated to be 10-11 months of age, is neutered and has a new lease on life…perhaps your family is the one to make his rags-to-riches transformation complete? Please contact us at Adoption@lunashouse.org or APPLY to request the pleasure of Gordon’s company.

Moby and Casey

The Luna’s House version of the Odd Couple, these two gerbil gents are a triple threat of energy, entertainment, and good, old-fashioned cute!!  Moby is an albino gerb who initially came to Luna’s House with his brother Morrissey. Sadly, Morrissey passed away unexpectedly in December 2009…luckily for Moby, Casey the gerbil had befriended the brothers as well. Casey is fawn-colored gerb with coal-black eyes who was all by his lonesome until meeting up with his new best buds.  Moby is approximately 18 months old, and Casey is about 22 months old…but is the more exuberant of the two boys.  There isn’t a reality show around that can compare to the antics of these guys.  Contact us at Adoption@lunashouse.org to tune in some prime-time amusement—make Moby and Casey yours today or APPLY

Siobhan

Siobhan, only two years old, is a striking lilac (beige) chin with cute-as-a-button pink ears, nose, and feet…and a thoroughly smoochable face. Siobhan found herself at an area shelter after her former family decided they were no longer interested in caring for her. We happen to adore this fun, pretty little lady and are sure you will too! Siobhan is currently living the good life in foster care, learning the finer points of interacting with—and manipulating—us humans. This cutie pie certainly knows how to get what she wants, be it hay, a dust bath, or healthy treats…but on the very top of her wish list is a happy, permanent home.
If you’d like to make this velvety-soft lilac chin your own, please contact us at Adoption@lunashouse.org or APPLY
