Small & Furry for Adoption

Harper and Leia (Foster Care)

Harper and Leia were a match made in heaven...well, technically, a match made at Luna's House. Harper came to us with some of his siblings from an "accidental" litter, but found his true love in Leia, who arrived at Luna's House with her three brothers. Harper is neutered and Leia--so no funny business or babies for these two! Both ratties are approximately 5 months old as of March 2012 and are seeking a home to call their own now that they have found one another. Please contact us at adoption@lunashouse.org to meet Harper and Leia or APPLY.

Brigit (Mama), Glenna, Moira, Blaire, & Nola (Daughters) (ACEC)

Brigit is a great mama to her daughters Glenna, Moira, Blaire, and Nola. She's happy to make their beds (out of CareFresh bedding) and always lets her babies get first dibs on every meal. Brigit is a slightly lighter caramel-brown color, while each of the baby girls is a darker chestnut brown. We will require that these little ones be adopted out in at least pairs, but would be delighted if the right home would be willing to adopt all of the ladies together as a family. If you would like to meet some truly adorable mama & baby mice, please contact us Adoption@lunashouse.org or APPLY today!

Tate and Adelaide (ACEC)

Tate and Adelaide brother and sister pigs and are just under three months of age. They will be neutered and spayed, respectively, in early April 2012. They will be available for adoption a week thereafter. More information on these cutie pies will be coming shortly! Please contact us Adoption@lunashouse.org with any questions or APPLY today (applications received will be processed once Tate and Adelaie are ready for adoption.

J.D. and Estelle (ACEC) Adoption Pending

J.D. and Estelle are an unlikely couple who are living it up here at Luna's House. J.D., an adorable tan crested gent, tends to keep more to himself, while Estelle, a predominatly grey girl, lets it all hang out. You could never forget to keep these two piggies stocked with hay, as Estelle sings and squeals delightedly (and demandingly) at her human servants whenever her hay is running low. Both pigs genuinely enjoy their greens and are known far and wide as the champs of competitive veggie eating at the ACEC. J.D. is about almost three years old and Estelle is just about two years old, as of March 2012. Even if you think your life is complete now, throw caution to the wind and give these two fun pigs a chance! Please contact us at adoption@lunashouse.org to meet J.D. and Estelle or APPLY.

Trey (ACEC)

Trey is in the house! Luna's House, that is :). Our resident gerbil boy is as entertaining as they come...this guy can shred with the best of them and sprints like a champ in his Silent Spinner wheel. Trey is estimated to be eleven months of age (as of March 2012) and could really use a family to call his own. If you would like to meet Trey, please contact us Adoption@lunashouse.org or APPLY today!

Bonnie and Bernice (Foster Care)

dcb

Bonnie and Bernice are two adorable, entertaining gerbil girls who would love to meet you!  Both girls have smooth and shiny coat agouti coats, but their size and personalities differ just enough to tell them apart.  Bernice, the gerbil lady with the curvier physique, is also the more outgoing of the two, with spunk to spare!  Bonnie is smaller—in fact, she is a bit underweight, so is being treated to a smorgasbord of healthy grub!  Bonnie and Bernice are two of 16 gerbs surrendered to an area shelter, the result of two “accidental” litters.  The girls are now getting used to the good life with lots of yummy food, toys to chew, paper to shred, and wheels to simply dominate.  The girls are estimated to be about two years old (as of January 2012).  Please contact us at adoption@lunashouse.org to meet these precious sisters or APPLY!

Peter, Egon, Raymond, & Winston (Foster Care)

Who ya gonna call? These four degus may not be able to bust a ghost but they will provide hours of entertainment.  The boys keep busy running in their wheels and redecorating their digs. They do take a break to feast on their greens or a piece of sweet potato. Please contact us at adoption@lunashouse.org to meet these handsome ghostbusters or APPLY today!

Roger (ACEC)

Roger is our newest degus here at Luna's House, and never fails to make us smile with his spirited romps in his exercise wheel and his squeals of pure, unabashed glee when he is offered his sweet potato treats. Roger is estimated to be 1.5 years old as of March 2012 and though he's not particularly fond of being man-handled, he is ever so fond of being hand-fed greens! Please contact us at adoption@lunashouse.org or APPLY to meet this sweetie today.

Minccino (ACEC)

Minccino is a textbook case of a curious chinchilla. She can often be found waiting by her cage door, nose in the air, anticipating a visitor with a treat. Mincci is still at the top of her game at four years old--and a "young four" according to our vet. Constantly in motion, she is a sight to see at out of her cage; wall-surfing like a boss. True to most chinchillas, Minccino tends to resist being picked up. Though even when she’s grumpy, Mincci is all bark (yes, chinchillas bark!) and no bite. This chinnie girl had a traumatic experience with a cat in the past and would be most comfortable in a cat free home. Minccino would love a family that can provide gracious amounts of time and space for her to show off at playtime. To meet Minccino please contact us Adoption@lunashouse.org or APPLY.

Malcolm (Foster Care)

Malcolm is approximately four years young and is about as friendly and loveable as they come. This supremely social chin is all about sitting on your shoulder while you read, or even falling asleep in your lap while you watch TV. He's also still a talented high-jumper and can run a wicked marathon in the wheel, which is fabulous, as he arrived at Luna's House on the plump side. Malcolm would be so happy to have a family of his own...if you are down for letting this nice guy finish first, please contact us at adoption@lunashouse.org to meet this personable little dude or APPLY!
