Rabbits for Adoption

Delia & Ian (Foster Care)

Please meet Delia and Ian, a happily married bunny couple who are top-the-charts precious! Delia, a grey and white mini-lop lass, was a former LH resident who was selected by Ian, a white and buff dwarf mix, during a bunny speed dating session a little over a year ago. The two buns were bonded by a LH volunteer and sent to their previous home...but unfortunately, were returned in December when their guardian decided they could no longer care for them. We would love to see this adorable duo go to a happy home for the rest of their days...and at only 2.5 years and three years of age, respectively, Delia and Ian have a lot of time to share and love to give. Please e-mail us at Adoption@lunashouse.org or APPLY online today to make these sweeties a part of your family!

Caitlin *Project Starlight* (ACEC)

Caitlin arrived at Luna’s House in November 2008 from Wildlife Rescue, where she was living with a couple of dozen other domestic buns. She is sweet, playful, and simply adores hiding in her paper bag and grooming her stuffed rabbit, Kaylee.  Directly after her arrival, Caitlin underwent major dental surgery, during which she had six teeth removed!  Caitlin’s incisors are maloccluded (crooked), but she is very good for getting them trimmed every 2.5 to 3 months--an outpatient procedure that takes only moments to perform. We take Caitlin in every 10 to 12 weeks to have her molars checked, so her adoptive family will likely have to do the same for her—but this is a very small price to pay for all of the joy this lovely little lady brings! Ms. Caitlin is estimated to be 7 years of age (as of January 2012) and is a gorgeous honey color with chubby cheeks that make us think she is a dwarf mix, although she is a perfect medium size at about four pounds. If you’d like to meet Caitlin, please e-mail us at Adoption@lunashouse.org or APPLY online today.

Roux (ACEC)

Roux (pronounced "ROO") is one handsome guy, with his dilute harlequin markings of sandy orange and splashes of dark grey. He's a sweetie pie, but definitely needs to work on his confidence...he's easily spooked and sometimes scared of his own shadow, poor guy. But this is one young--9 months as of April 2012--bun who is really worth the time it'll take to make him a brave boy. Named after pretty much the best hockey player in the NHL right now, Claude Giroux of the Philadelphia Flyers, Roux is inherently a winner...what would really make him feel triumphant, though, is a family to call his own. If you’d like to meet Roux, please e-mail us at Adoption@lunashouse.org or APPLY online today.

Reed (ACEC) Adoption Pending

Reed is a stunning charcoal grey bun who is as outgoing as his brother, Roux, is shy. He's a whole lot of fun with his sweet dance moves and silly personality, and has lots of time to spend with his forever family, as he's only 9 months of age (as of April 2012). Reed will definitely require lots of exercise time, as he's super active, speedy, and a fabulous jumper...so he'll also need a pen that's 42" in height or more. It's a toss up if Reed has more energy or more charm--neither is in short supply with this bun. If you’d like to meet Reed, please e-mail us at Adoption@lunashouse.org or APPLY online today.

Audrina (ACEC)

abc

Audrina is a super sweet and super cute mini-lop girl...with delightful helicopter ears and a penchant for snuggling. This two year old (as of April 2012) lass is a gentle and unassuming, and has a gorgeous, shiny jet-black coat. Audrina can't get enough head, chin, and ear rubs, but, like most rabbits, is not too fond of being picked up and carried--she can be quite a squirmy little lady! So while she is laid-back enough for a home with children, she would need a household whose members understand that she does not enjoy being lifted. Please e-mail us at Adoption@lunashouse.org or APPLY today to meet and greet with Audrina!

Clara (Foster Care)

Clara is our sassy mini-lop lass here at Luna’s House, and she has made short work of forming a fan club with us humans. From her snow-white and woodsy-brown coat and soulful russet eyes to her impressive dewlap and floppy ears, Clara is hands-down a looker. Her most spellbinding feature, though, is her curious, friendly disposition. This 4.5-year-old lady (as of April 2012) is not only happy to settle in for chin and ear rubs, she has been know to seek out a foster parent or two for head and back massages! Clara is certainly not shy about “voicing” her distaste if the situation warrants…a grumpy honk and solid thump do the trick every time—although she is still perplexed that we seem to find even her occasional moodiness just plain cute. We think you will too—contact us at Adoption@lunashouse.org today to meet this all-around great bunny girl or APPLY today.

Herb and Jo (ACEC)

Herb and Jo's collective cuteness is second-to-none, particularly when they are snuggling or grooming one another. These two lovebugs had a difficult start in life, coming from the same hoarding situation as Luna's House alumni Justin and Ashton. We are confident that Herb and Jo will be just as successful in finding a forever home as their friends were...actually, Jo is Justin and Ashton's sister (previously adopter from Luna's House), and Herb is believed to be the father of all three. Jo is only 1.5 years old (as of April 2012), and Herb is just under two years old (as of April 2012)...so they have plenty of time and so much happiness to share with a family of their own! Please help to make Herb and Jo's Extreme Makeover, Life Edition complete--contact us at Adoption@lunashouse.org or APPLY today!

Hannah (Foster Care)

ab

Little Miss Hannah came to Luna's House from a private home who could no longer care for her. She is an absolute sweetheart and would be a fantastic addition to most any home, as she gets along with anyone. Hannah is just about three years young (as of April 2012), so has plenty of time to enjoy with the lucky family who adopts her. According to Hannah, she would definitely also consider sharing her life with a companion of her own species...so if your bun is lonely, Hannah may just prove to be a fabulous companion for both of you! Please e-mail us at Adoption@lunashouse.org or APPLY today to meet and greet with Hannah

Melissa (ACEC)

Melissa is a gorgeous mini-lop lady with some seriously cool markings! This 2-year-old bun girl is mostly chesnut brown in color, with one snow white shoulder and white accents on her face, chest, and paws. She also has a pale blue arc on the bottom of each of her dark chocolate irises (the colored parts of her eyes, surrounding the pupil). But Melissa is not only a stunner...she's also quite friendly and easy-going. She has a healthy appetite for greens and timothy hay and enjoys her playtime...she's an all-around great gal--so why not add her to your family? Please contact us at Adoption@lunashouse.org or APPLY today to meet with Melissa.

Russell (ACEC)

Please meet our big man, Russell! Russ is one heck of a nice guy, even though he's a little on the socially awkward side...he just needs to continue to gain confidence and he'll be all set. An intriguing smokey black/brown color, Russell's fur is a tad longer and plusher than most buns. He's about 6.5 lbs of pure energy--at only eight months of age, Russell just loves to run, jump, and play! He would be best suited to a family that could give him lots of out-of-enclosure exercise time...and lots of leafy greens and ear rubs. Please contact us at Adoption@lunashouse.org or APPLY today to meet Russell

Lulu and Misty Mae (ACEC)

Lulu and Misty May are a pair of tiny little tots who are taking the world--starting with the Luna's House ACEC--by storm! Lulu is the white dwarf girl with brunette markings and long lashes, while Misty Mae is the silver marten dwarf mix with irresistible chubby cheeks. The pair was originally surrendered to Luna's House after being"purchased" at a pet store...and quickly having their caretaker discover that their upkeep more than he had bargained for. Lulu and Misty Mae were adopted out in October 2011, then recently returned when their previous guardians' work schedules changed and no longer allowed them adequate time to interact with the buns. This precious duo is seeking a forever home, preferrably with adults, possibly with older gentle children. To meet this sweet couple, please contact us at Adoption@lunashouse.org or APPLY.

Ruby (ACEC)

Ruby is a big girl who could use the time and attention of a devoted family to help build her confidence. A beautiful New Zealand White lady with pretty pink eyes, Ruby is known to show off bold, silly dance moves (aka binkies) when she thinks no one is watching...but she is a bit shy and at times introverted with people. At only 12 months of age (as of April 2012), Ruby is a young bun and has all the potential of being a fabulous companion...she just needs a little TLC to help her get there. Because she sometimes nips when being held too long, Ruby is not recommended for a home with young children, but gentle, patient older children adults would be just fine! Please contact us at Adoption@lunashouse.org or APPLY today to meet Ruby.
